At Santa Barbara Unified, we believe that we are truly the sum of our parts, and that every student and every employee impacts the way we function on a daily basis. And we know that there are "heroes" amongst us — so we've created the recognition platform that we are calling "Heroes of the Heart" — as we must all lead with our heart in order to fulfill our mission of preparing our children for a world that has yet to be created.
If you have a nomination, we've developed an easy form. It can be for a student, a teacher, a staff member or an administrator — we simply want to make sure our "heroes" get the recognition they deserve.
