SMS Messaging – District Employees
Santa Barbara Unified School District uses SMS text messaging solely for internal, work-related communications between District employees using District-issued phone numbers. Text messages are used for individual, conversational business communications (for example, coordination, document review, scheduling, or brief updates). The District does not use SMS messaging for advertising, marketing, political messaging, or mass notifications.
Employees may opt out of receiving SMS messages from District-issued numbers at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by contacting the District.
