FAMILY ENGAGEMENT POLICY
As a school district we believe in the importance of addressing the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse students and their families as a key to student success. Research has shown that children benefit from family/caregiver engagement in their education by;
- Receiving higher grades and test scores
- Enrolling in higher-level programs
- Attending school regularly
- Increased graduation rates and postsecondary education
The Board approved Parent Engagement Policy (linked below) is our commitment to families as we continue to forge stronger partnerships with our families and community.
