Student Accounts

District students have access to online platforms that support and enhance the learning experience. Following are some key platforms that students use, along with instructions on gaining access.

Initial Setup

If you are an incoming or active District student and have not accessed any District platforms before, follow these steps to get your accounts set up.

  1. Go to https://password.sbunified.org, our District Password Portal.
  2. Click on New User.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your password and access your accounts.

G Suite (Google) – Collaboration Tools

G Suite provides students with access to email, shared documents, and other collaboration tools. Google accounts are also used to automatically access other platforms without users needing to re-enter their usernames/passwords.

Accessing Google

Once you have established your District account (see Initial Setup above) you can access Google with your District email address and password.

  1. Go to https://mail.google.com.
  2. Enter your District email address (ID number followed by @my.sbunified.org) and password, when prompted.
  3. Click on the “waffle” icon in the upper-right of the screen to access any other Google tools.

If you do not remember your Google password, go to https://password.sbunified.org and click on Forgot Password to reset it.


Aeries – Student Information System

Aeries holds student records around enrollment, attendance, classes, grades, etc. Students can access Aeries at any time to view their records online, and for incoming/continuing secondary students, to select their courses for the upcoming school year.

Accessing Aeries

Once you have established your District account (see Initial Setup above) you can access Aeries automatically if you are already logged into your District Google account.

  1. Make sure you are logged into your District Google account.
  2. Go to https://aeries.sbunified.org/student.
  3. Enter your District email address (ID number followed by @my.sbunified.org) and click Next.
  4. Click Sign in with Google.

Zendesk – Technology Support

Zendesk provides all District users a platform to find technology support resources and to contact our technical support team.

Accessing Zendesk

  1. Make sure you are logged into your District Google account.
  2. Go to http://support.sbunified.org.
  3. If prompted, select your District Google account.
  4. Use the search box to search for help, click on Submit a ticket to ask for help from our technical support team, or click on View your tickets to view tickets that you have already submitted.
