Q: What do I do if the apps aren’t showing up on my iPad?
A: Try restarting the iPad or updating the iOS on the iPad by going to Settings → General → Software Update → Download and Install. If this still doesn’t resolve the issue, file a tech ticket by going to support.sbunified.org and logging in to Incident IQ with your school Gmail account or by using the Incident IQ App on your iPad.
Q: How do I log into the Canvas App?
A:
- Download Canvas Student from Self Service
- On the web, log into Canvas, https://canvas.sbunified.org with your school Google account. You can also log into Canvas through Clever.
- Go to Account on the left sidebar
- Select QR for Mobile Login
- Tap and hold on the QR code then select Open in "Student"
- Click on a course tile to access a class
Q: How do I back up my iPad?
A: First, make sure you are logged into your SBUnified iCloud account in Settings. Open up Settings → Go to iCloud → Open iCloud Backup → toggle on Back Up This iPad. Choose Back Up Now if you’d like a more recent backup.
Q: How do I back up my notes in Notability?
A: First, make sure you are logged into your SBUnified iCloud account in Settings. In Notability go to Settings (gear in upper left) → Connected Services → toggle on iCloud syncing. If you want an extra layer of security, you can toggle on Auto-Backup to Google Drive.
Q: How do I change my school Google password or what if I forgot my password?
A: Go to https://password.sbunified.org
Q: What do I do if my keyboard doesn’t work?
A: Carefully try removing the iPad’s case and cleaning the connection ports to ensure nothing is blocking the keyboard connection. If it still doesn’t work, file a tech ticket.
Q: What do I do if my iPad is damaged, lost or stolen?
A: If you experience a tech issue or your iPad is damaged, lost, or stolen, please submit a tech ticket asap! File a ticket by using the Incident IQ App on your iPad or by going to support.sbunified.org and logging in to Incident IQ with your school Gmail account. You can also call the tech Help Desk at 805-963-4338 x4357.
