On Tuesday, November 6, 2012, residents of the Santa Barbara Unified School District voted to approve a secondary education parcel tax for the purpose of providing quality education programs to nearly 10,000 students attending local junior and senior high schools.
Measure A2012 will generate needed revenue, amounting to an estimated annual $1.9 million, to carry these programs forward.
