Franklin Teacher Fosters Civic Responsibility

Random acts of kindness can take on many forms. Leon Lewandowski has integrated the concept into his third-/fourth-grade Franklin School classroom for the past few years and this year his students stepped up to the plate, creating “Sacks of Hope.” The story is featured on page 53 of the January/February 2017 issue of California Teachers’ Association’s “California Educator.”
