Check out some of the great things that are happening in our tech integrators’ classrooms across the district. These featured posts are all available on the district’s iLearn Initiative Blog.
The iLearn Team selected four featured blog posts for the month of October from Chloe Milligan, a first-grade teacher at Adams School; Tammi White, a fifth-grade teacher at Washington School; Kristin Pettit, a social studies teacher at Santa Barbara Junior High; and Samantha Mooneyham, a math teacher at Dos Pueblos High School.
Chloe took on the task of using the app Green Screen with her students to produce fun projects while Tammi shows how she uses Newsomatic to help her students understand the world around them via kid-friendly versions of New York Times articles and videos.
Kristin’s post is very timely and covers using social media, specifically Snapchat in the classroom; it’s a great way to hook our students. Samantha tried out EdPuzzle, an online formative assessment tool using videos.
