News from the California Department of Education

Results of the Healthy Kids Survey for 2014-2015 school year have been released by the California Department of Education (CDE). According to CDE, “Drug and alcohol use dropped among students and school safety increased, according to the new California Healthy Kids Survey…The survey evaluates how well schools met students’ needs for school safety, drug and alcohol prevention, mental health, and other factors that influence learning.
